A 28-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday evening on Rubinstein Street in Jaffa, in what police are investigating as a suspected murder.
The victim was struck by gunfire and evacuated to Wolfson Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Large forces from the Jaffa police station were dispatched to the scene, along with forensic investigators from the Tel Aviv District who began collecting evidence and examining the site.
Police have launched extensive sweeps in the area in an effort to locate the suspects responsible for the shooting. At this stage, authorities have not released details about the identity of the victim or the suspects. The motive behind the attack remains unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
