Viral Streamer Clavicular Storms Out of Israeli TV Interview Over Past Controversy | WATCH

Clavicular walks out of Israeli TV interview after Channel 13 host presses him to apologize for his "Heil Hitler" video.

Braden Peters, the 20-year-old American streamer and influencer better known as Clavicular, walked out of a live television interview on Israel’s Channel 13 after being repeatedly asked to apologize for a controversial video in which he sang along to Ye’s (Kanye West) song “Heil Hitler.”

The tense exchange occurred during an appearance on the popular current-affairs program Hatzinor (“The Pipe”). Host Guy Lerer pressed Peters on footage from a Miami nightclub earlier this year, where the influencer was filmed enthusiastically singing the track alongside far-right figures including Nick Fuentes, as well as members of the so-called “manosphere” who performed Nazi salutes.

Peters, who flew into Israel on July 10 aboard a private jet for a high-profile visit, defended his trip as an effort to show young Americansm particularly his large following on Kick and X, that Israel is a vibrant and safe destination.

“I came here… to show that Israel is a safe place,” he said, growing visibly agitated. “Why don’t you apologize to me for wasting my time? Why don’t you clean the page and talk about how much I’ve done for this country’s reputation?”

When the interviewer continued to press for an apology regarding the “Heil Hitler” clip and his past associations, Peters refused, stood up, and left the studio mid-segment.

Peters rose to fame through extreme “looksmaxxing” content, a controversial online trend focused on maximizing physical appearance, often involving steroids, cosmetic procedures, and other radical methods. He has faced repeated criticism for his associations with polarizing internet personalities and content that many view as antisemitic or misogynistic.

His Israel visit has been a mix of viral beach and nightlife livestreams and growing backlash. While some Israeli influencers and content creators welcomed him, others — including pro-Israel voices — condemned the decision to platform someone with his track record.

The Channel 13 segment quickly went viral on Israeli social media, with reactions split: Supporters argued the interview was overly aggressive and that Peters was helping counter anti-Israel sentiment among Gen Z. On the other side, critics called it tone-deaf and said his refusal to apologize highlighted deeper issues with giving him a platform in the first place.

Notably, he referred to the Heil Hitler debacle as being negative, which, in his own bizarre way, might actually have been some sort of an apology, that wouldn't alienate his follower base.

As of now, Peters has not issued a further statement on the walkout, and claims he is leaving Israel today.
