WSJ: Saudi Arabia's air defenses fail to protect over half of areas hit by Houthi attacks
Saudi Arabia's military vulnerabilities are being exposed by renewed Houthi attacks, the Wall Street Journal reports. While Saudi air defenses have intercepted over 90% of Houthi missiles targeting protected areas, more than 50% of attacks have struck locations without air defense coverage. The report notes growing concern as the U.S. resumes its confrontation with Iran next month, leaving Saudi Arabia facing simultaneous attacks from multiple directions without adequate defensive capabilities.
