Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yiftach Ron-Tal said this morning (Monday) on Galei Israel radio that he believes Israel and the United States are in the final stage of their campaign against Iran. "I think Trump understands, through his conversations with Netanyahu, that we are at the decision phase," Ron-Tal said.
"It's a combination of an economic campaign, and when the time comes, and in my opinion it's a matter of a few weeks, a further military campaign as well. The entire purpose is to leave the Iranian public with no choice but to take to the streets. They have reached the point of starvation," he added.
According to Ron-Tal, the combined Israeli-American campaign will target economic infrastructure: oil, water, air and ground transport, and fuel supply. "That is where the decisive attack will be directed, which is meant in practice to end the campaign," he said.
