Zelensky says Trump refused to expand Starlink access to target Russian missile launchers
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he proposed to Donald Trump that Ukraine could quickly end Russian ballistic missile attacks if the U.S. expanded Starlink access into Russian territory. "I said to Trump that we can do it very quickly. If you will not close Starlink for us, if you will open Starlink on the territory of Russia, we will destroy his ballistic launchers, and that's it for him," Zelensky stated. He added that he offered not to target Russian energy infrastructure in exchange for the expanded access. However, Zelensky said the request was denied and Starlink access was instead reduced. "They didn't make it wider. They made it smaller. It's a very serious mistake," he said.
