Zelensky says Ukraine halted attacks on Russian energy infrastructure during ceasefire, Russia continued strikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he ordered his military to refrain from attacking Russian refineries and diesel-related infrastructure during the energy ceasefire to avoid accusations of breaking the agreement. "I said to my military people that during the energy ceasefire, we would not attack Russian refineries or anything connected with diesel. Because even if we are right, and we are right, somebody will say that we broke the energy ceasefire. I don't want to play this game," Zelensky said. He added that for three days Ukraine did not strike any Russian energy or diesel infrastructure, while Russia continued attacking Ukrainian targets during the same period.
