Zelensky says Ukraine lacks speed to intercept high-speed Shahed drones

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine cannot destroy high-speed Shahed drones due to limitations in interception capabilities. He said Shahed drones reach speeds of 450-550 kilometers per hour or more, while Ukraine's current maximum interception speed is limited to 161 kilometers per hour, making it impossible to counter these faster jet-powered variants.
