The Israeli Navy has completed its operation to stop the Global Sumud Flotilla from breaching the Gaza maritime blockade, with a dramatic new video capturing the interception of the mission’s final vessel, the Marinette.

Footage obtained by journalist Itay Blumental reveals the precise moments Shayetet 13 (Naval Commando) fighters boarded the yacht, securing the last group of activists attempting to reach the besieged strip.

Last Vessel Neutralized at Sea

The video shows the approach of the Israeli naval ship toward the civilian vessel, as the passengers on the Marinette are seen gathering at the stern of the boat in preparation for the confrontation.

As the Navy craft maneuvers into position, a voice is heard over a loudspeaker relaying demands and seeking information: "How many of you are there? Is everyone on board?"

The climax of the footage shows elite Shayetet 13 commandos boarding the Marinette and immediately taking control of the ship. Their commands to the activists were abrupt and non-negotiable, heard clearly in the recording: "Don't move!"

Flotilla Campaign Ends with Mass Detentions

The capture of the Marinette concludes the large-scale operation against the Global Sumud Flotilla, which consisted of over 40 vessels and nearly 500 activists. All detained individuals were transported to Ashdod Port for processing and subsequent deportation.

Israeli officials maintained that the interception of the flotilla, which they termed a "provocation", was necessary to enforce the maritime blockade on Gaza and prevent the smuggling of arms. Organizers of the flotilla, however, insisted their mission was purely humanitarian, aimed at challenging what they call an "illegal siege."
