Recent reports from within the Gaza Strip indicate that Hamas is actively utilizing hospitals, schools, and humanitarian aid sites as operational command centers to reestablish and enforce control over the civilian population all over again.
The terrorist group is allegedly employing these sensitive locations to detain, interrogate, and punish residents suspected of collaborating with rivals or external powers, posing a direct challenge to the fragile post-ceasefire environment.
Hospitals as Detention and Execution Centers
The most concerning reports center on the use of major medical facilities as main internal security bases. Residents claim that Hamas's internal police forces are primarily operating from Maamadani Hospital and Nasser Hospital.
According to these accounts, individuals detained on suspicion of collaboration are being brought to these hospitals for questioning, beatings, and executions. The alleged use of medical facilities, sites protected under international law, for military and punitive purposes highlights Hamas's strategy of utilizing civilian infrastructure to conduct its internal terroristic operations.
