A renewed wave of Iranian missile attacks struck northern Israel Saturday night, leaving three civilians dead in the city of Tamra and triggering extensive destruction across multiple urban areas. At the same time, the Israeli Air Force launched its most expansive strike on Tehran since the beginning of the war, as part of Operation Rising Lion.

The direct hit in Tamra caused the partial collapse of a four-story residential building, where Israeli rescue forces worked throughout the night. Fire and Rescue Services confirmed that eight emergency teams were on the scene, pulling four trapped individuals from the rubble — two of them without signs of life. Magen David Adom later confirmed a third fatality at the site.

The head of the Northern Fire District, Commander Yair Elkayam, described the scene as one of “massive structural devastation.” Ongoing searches are underway for more trapped individuals, with assistance from IDF Home Front Command units.

Meanwhile, the IDF confirmed that fighter jets carried out dozens of precision airstrikes in Tehran, including a direct hit on the capital’s main fuel terminal, which reportedly stores over 260 million liters and supplies nearly 7 million liters of fuel daily. A senior Iranian official told the New York Times that the storage tanks exploded in sequence and threatened nearby residential neighborhoods.

Residents in northern Israel faced continued alerts through the night. In the Western Galilee region, a missile struck near a two-story home, killing a woman in her 20s and wounding at least seven others, according to MDA.

In Sana’a, Yemen, the IDF struck additional Iranian proxy infrastructure, while in Jordan, fires broke out in the city of Irbid after the Jordanian military reportedly intercepted an Iranian drone.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz posted a stark message on X: “Tehran is burning.”

Despite the emergency, political divisions at home remain. Sources close to opposition leader Benny Gantz told reporters Saturday night that there are “currently no discussions” about joining a unity government.
