A senior Hamas delegation visited Tehran in early September and met with a series of high-ranking Iranian officials, including Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, according to a report by Elior Levy on Kan News.
A Palestinian source involved in the discussions told Kan that during the meetings, Hamas representatives asked Tehran to restore financial support to the organization, which has been frozen in recent months. The Hamas delegation, however, received no commitment that the flow of funds would resume.
