Not Your Average Security: Gaza Crowd Gets a Loud Lesson from U.S. Guards

Escalation caught on video: American security contractors respond with crowd-control measures as Palestinians confront guards; nearly 1 million meals distributed since morning

Tensions escalated Thursday near a humanitarian aid center in Gaza, as video footage captured U.S. security contractors firing warning shots and deploying stun grenades in response to Palestinian individuals who approached and provoked them at the edge of a guarded aid zone.

The video, verified by JFeed, shows a group of men confronting the guards, prompting an immediate crowd-control response. Loud bangs can be heard as the crowd scatters in panic.

The incident occurred amid what humanitarian officials are calling the most successful aid day in recent weeks.

According to the Gaza Humanitarian Relief Fund, nearly 1 million food portions were distributed across aid centers since morning. The organization reported that it has now reached the capacity to receive and distribute 60–65 aid trucks per day, providing food assistance to an estimated 1.2 million Gazans.

“We’re on track to handle up to 80 trucks per day in the coming days,” a spokesperson said. “We’re moving in the right direction to reach full coverage of the population.”

Still, tensions remain high. These secured distribution hubs—operated with international oversight and U.S. protection—have become flashpoints amid public frustration, misinformation campaigns, and efforts by Hamas to disrupt aid delivery.
