Aid Without Fear
U.S.-Backed NGO: ‘Gaza Residents Are No Longer Afraid of Hamas’
Despite Hamas threats, U.S.-backed group delivers 500,000 meals in Gaza with zero casualties — and says the fear is finally gone.

Despite yesterday’s media reports of chaos and looting during food distribution in Gaza, the U.S.-based Global Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) says the reality tells a different story: over 8,000 food packages and 500,000 meals were distributed, with zero casualties on any side.
According to a GHF statement released Wednesday morning, a new aid center opened today and completed its operations without incident, despite Hamas threats. Other centers are expected to open gradually.
“The fear barrier has been broken,” GHF said. “What was described as ‘chaos’ yesterday was actually a pre-planned crowd control scenario. We allowed 100 Palestinians to enter, take boxes, and leave calmly. The entire episode lasted under an hour.”
Why the chaos yesterday? GHF claims that over 60,000 heads of households showed up at the aid site, desperate for food. “This is because UNRWA aid is being stolen and resold. For many Gazans, this was the first time they received free, unlooted aid,” the group explained.
Videos circulating online show smiling Palestinians celebrating their first encounter with unrestricted aid. According to GHF, this is the clearest sign yet that Hamas' grip is loosening.
Who’s Paying for the Aid?
Funding remains a contentious issue. U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee recently said the money "is coming from various undisclosed sources" and promised more transparency “when they’re ready to go public.”
But Israeli opposition leader Avigdor Lieberman accused the Mossad and the Defense Ministry of secretly financing the operation “at the expense of Israeli taxpayers.” The Prime Minister's Office flatly denied this, calling Lieberman’s claims “a lie.”
Opposition leader Yair Lapid added fuel to the fire during a fiery Knesset speech Tuesday, suggesting Israel may be secretly behind two shell companies—GHF and SRS—allegedly created to channel funds for Gaza aid. “The public deserves answers,” Lapid said. “Is the Israeli government funding aid to Hamas-controlled Gaza via front organizations abroad?”
In response, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s spokesman said:
“Israel and the United States are working in full coordination to ensure that no aid ends up in Hamas’ hands.”
Meanwhile, GHF claims that a "foreign government" has pledged $100 million to support its operations in the coming months—but declined to name the country.
