The Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo is mourning the sudden death of Rivka (Ricki) Feivelzon, a widely respected educator who passed away late Tuesday night at just 32 years old.

Feivelzon had been living with asthma in recent years. Shortly before midnight, she experienced sudden severe breathing difficulties at her home. Emergency medical teams and firefighters responded and performed extended resuscitation efforts, but she could not be saved.

Born in Jerusalem in July 1994, Feivelzon was the daughter of Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Feivelzon, head of the Pitchei Olam yeshiva in Jerusalem and a prominent Torah educator in the city.

Over the years, she built a reputation as a dedicated and beloved teacher at the Ashira girls' school in Jerusalem, where she taught generations of students. She also served as a coordinator for a special program promoting Jewish education and values in schools throughout the city.

In the past year, she gained wider recognition as host of popular podcasts addressing Jewish life, education, and matchmaking for women and girls, offering encouragement and faith-based guidance.

She is survived by her parents, siblings, and numerous friends and former students. Her funeral is taking place today (Wednesday) in Jerusalem.
