Bar Ilan Professor: Israel needs arms and economic embargo to collapse it

Prof. Moshe Helinger from Bar Ilan University today called for a weapons embargo on Israel in order to release the hostages. If that doesn't help: "I hope an economic embargo will be imposed on Israel that will bring about the collapse of the Israeli economy."

Prof. Moshe Helinger, a researcher at Bar Ilan University, wishes for the international community to impose a boycott on Israel that will lead to its collapse.

Helinger, who serves as an associate professor in the Political Science Department at the university, wrote today on his Facebook page that an embargo should be imposed on Israel to advance the release of the hostages:

"I hope that all of Israel's friendly countries, led by the United States, Germany and Britain, will impose a complete embargo on arms supplies to Israel, as long as there is no end to the war that has become meaningless and severely harms the interests of the State of Israel, in exchange for the return of all hostages from Hamas captivity," he wrote.

If the first stage doesn't help, Helinger has an even more radical idea: "If even this draconian measure does not stop the messianic madness government, I hope an economic embargo will be imposed on Israel that will bring about the collapse of the Israeli economy. Only this way will it be possible to save the hostages and prevent death."
