Candace Owens has been vocal in promoting conspiracy theories surrounding the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who was reportedly killed by Tyler Robinson in September 2025 during an event at Utah Valley University.

Owens insists that Robinson was framed and is not the actual killer, pointing to various inconsistencies in the official narrative, such as suppressed FBI footage, fabricated messages, and Robinson's personal background. In her latest commentary, she claimed to have received direct insight from Kirk himself via a dream.

Owens stated on her show: "Like I just said, had a vivid dream this weekend and Charlie came to me and he told me that he was betrayed. And so for me you don't have to believe that but I do believe that it. It was the immediate sense I got actually and I don't know who exactly it is that betrayed him but I also felt in the dream that it is soon going to be revealed, that it's actually inevitable but is going to be revealed there was nothing and no one that is going to stop the truth from coming out and it is going to have international consequences. Take that to the bank quote me on that women tend to have a strong [sense]." This dream, she suggested, confirms her belief that the killer was someone "on his side" rather than Robinson, and that the truth will emerge with global repercussions.

Owens has also questioned Erika Kirk, Charlie's widow, for not pushing for more transparency, asking: "What kind of a widow would not want the truths of her husband's murder to come out?" She accused influencers and Turning Point USA of spreading "micro lies" to cover up details and emphasized that grieving shouldn't involve "lying and gaslighting," urging focus on the events of the day rather than fundraising.

To support her framing theory, Owens highlighted several points:A suppressed FBI video allegedly showing a woman with Robinson during the 33-hour manhunt, questioning: "What the heck is going on? Who was the woman who was with the shooter, and why wouldn't the FBI release that footage? Yet they chose during their 33-hour manhunt that they were also looking for a woman who could have been the accomplice. What happened to this lady?"

The murder weapon belonged to Robinson, but she noted the bullet engravings shocked him as "he is not a gun enthusiast. As the eldest in his family, he owned the firearm but preferred fishing."

Chats between Robinson and his boyfriend seemed fabricated, as "no one speaks like that."

Robinson's familiarity with the UVU campus rooftop was implausible, as "even current actual UVU students are not that familiar with the campus and the rooftop."

Additionally, Owens released screenshots of a group chat from two days before Kirk's death, showing him venting about pressure from Jewish donors over his refusal to cancel Tucker Carlson. These texts were verified as authentic by Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet, who confirmed he shared them with federal authorities but was "excited the truth is now out there." The messages include:"Just lost another huge Jewish donor."

"$2 million a year because we won't cancel Tucker. I'm thinking of inviting Candace."

"Jewish donors play into all the stereotypes. I cannot and will not be bullied like this."

"Leaving me no choice but to leave the pro Israel cause."

Kolvet described Kirk as "wonderfully defiant" and independent, emphasizing his commitment to free speech even as a longtime Israel supporter.

These claims have drawn widespread criticism, with many labeling them as baseless or indicative of mental instability, while Owens maintains they point to a larger cover-up involving betrayal and international implications.
