Released, then re-arrested: Freed terrorist caught attacking Israeli cars
Released in 2024 hostage deal, he joined Molotov attack on Israeli drivers near Maale Adumim.

The State Attorney's Office has filed an indictment against terrorist Rada Abeid from East Jerusalem, who was released in the last deal in February and had already participated in a Molotov cocktail attack on cars traveling to Ma'ale Adumim, two months after he was released.
Together with the indictment against him, the State Attorney's Office filed indictments against 10 other defendants for their involvement in violent riots and terrorist offenses committed last April. Among them are seven minors aged 16-17, residents of Issawiya.
According to the indictments, which were filed through Attorney Ariel Iluz of the Jerusalem District Attorney's Office, on April 6, 2025, a violent disturbance took place in Issawiya, on the basis of identification with residents of the Gaza Strip and Palestinian terrorists. During the riot, stones were thrown at police forces and roads were blocked.
The next day, on April 7, some of the defendants, including Rada Abeid, Muhammad Abeid and other minors, gathered at a soccer field in the neighborhood, where they discussed the security situation and decided to escalate their activities.
As part of the planning, some of the defendants wore veils, blocked roads, equipped themselves with glass bottles filled with gasoline, and prepared Molotov cocktails. Later, some of them were involved in throwing a Molotov cocktail at a civilian vehicle traveling on a nearby road. The bottle landed near the car and ignited, but the driver managed to flee the scene.
In addition, in an incident that took place on 23 February 2025, during the funeral of a terrorist released in a prisoner exchange deal, one of the minor defendants participated in a violent riot, threw stones at a police vehicle and interfered with a police officer in the performance of his duties.
