"Total Collapse"
Chaos in Gaza: Starving crowds ransack UN supplies
Sources in Gaza’s humanitarian aid system say the looting that took place last week indicates growing hunger in the Strip, with reports of at least five violent looting incidents in a single day.

Last Wednesday night, thousands of displaced Gazans raided an UNRWA food compound, taking everything they could and vandalizing the UN aid agency’s vehicles.
The raids also included a violent takeover of UNRWA’s pharmacy, which supplies medicines to hospitals across the city.
At this stage, it is unclear who is behind the looting. While Reuters refers to "displaced persons," it is reasonable to assume that many Hamas operatives participated in this civilian terror, as supplies for the organization’s terrorists in Gaza are dwindling.
Israel reports that Hamas still holds large quantities of food, medicine, and humanitarian equipment that could last for a significant period, while the Gazan public starves.
Reuters quotes "Gazan" sources who claim the problem stems from Hamas’s absence in the Strip, as the group fears deploying its policing forces amid renewed Israeli strikes.
A source in the UN organization described a "total collapse" in Gaza. "The looting, though destructive, is not surprising given the systemic total collapse. We are witnessing the consequences of a society brought to its knees by a prolonged siege and violence," she said in a statement to Reuters.
Just last night (Saturday), at least thirty terrorists and Palestinians were reported killed in the Strip, with southern residents testifying to hearing intense explosions throughout the Sabbath.
Gazans blame Israel of course, while Israel searches for ways to resume humanitarian aid to the Strip without it reaching Hamas, if that is even possible.
