Lindsey Graham Urges Trump to "Unleash Israel" If Hamas Doesn't Disarm

In a fiery press conference from Israel, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham pulled no punches after meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, IDF intelligence officials, and U.S. military leaders.

Graham celebrated the recent ceasefire and hostage returns as a "major accomplishment" and even a "miracle," but sounded the alarm: 90 days in, Hamas isn't disarming, they're rearming and consolidating power in Gaza."My takeaway? Hamas is not giving up power. They're not interested in peace," Graham said.

He called the idea of rebuilding Gaza while Hamas remains armed impossible, urging a swift plan to put the group "on a time clock" for disarmament.

If Hamas refuses? "I would encourage President Trump to unleash Israel to go finish off Hamas," he declared, acknowledging it would be a "long, brutal war" but necessary for regional success.

Graham extended tough talk to Iran's proxies:

Iran: Despite strikes obliterating nuclear facilities, Tehran's regime still wants nukes and to "kill all the Jews." If evidence shows they're rebuilding enrichment sites or ballistic missiles, "hit them before they can."

Hezbollah: Trends in Lebanon are "optimistic" with calls for disarmament, but if the group keeps heavy weapons, the U.S. should join Israel in military ops to take them out, "I'd like to fly with Israel."

He slammed Turkey's potential role in any Gaza stabilizing force as a non-starter, citing President Erdogan's anti-Israel rhetoric.

On broader U.S.-Israel ties, Graham dismissed "loud" anti-Israel voices on the American right as a tiny minority, insisting Republican support remains rock-solid at 75%+. He pushed for a formal U.S.-Israel defense pact to cement the alliance long-term.Graham also defended Israel's global image: "Israel wants peace - they've signed deals with seven Arab countries. The problem is Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran [is that] They want a second Holocaust."

Graham's message was clear: Finish the job on terror groups, or peace slips away. The comments come amid fragile ceasefires in Gaza and Lebanon, with Netanyahu set to meet Trump soon.
