Guy Hochman's Son Injured Again in ER Visit

The performer posted about his younger son Oz's latest accident, noting the family has become frequent visitors to the emergency room

Israeli comedian Guy Hochman found himself back in the emergency room recently, this time accompanying his younger son Oz after an injury. Hochman shared a photo on social media showing the child with blood on his face and a gash on his forehead, telling his followers that hospital visits have become almost routine for the family.

"I'm in the ER in August more than I'm onstage," Hochman wrote. "This kid is Guy Hochman on steroids. We have ten eyes on him and somehow he already has more scars on his face than teeth."

"This one dives headfirst onto concrete"

Even amid his concern, Hochman remained true to his comedic style, humorously contrasting his two sons' personalities: "How did his older brother turn out to be a traffic cop while this one dives headfirst onto concrete. Hasty and Cautious," he quipped, playing on their different temperaments.

He also joked about the frequency of their visits to their health maintenance organization: "Poor Maccabi is losing money on him. They called and offered to transfer him to Clalit, I told them: this is my star."

Hochman closed the post on a loving note, making clear that despite the injuries and scares, he wouldn't change anything about Oz's character: "May he just stay this way. With the scars, without the teeth, and bursting with an unreasonable amount of joy for life."

He warned earlier: "Oz doesn't see with his eyes"

Oz's high energy comes as no surprise to those who have followed Hochman's previous comments. In an interview with Srugim several months ago, the comedian shared that his younger son inherited his mischievous streak and has become the family's "mini Guy Hochman."

While he described his older son Rom as calm and reserved, Hochman said of Oz that he "doesn't see with his eyes," makes messes, and walks around the house covered in chocolate. This time, the endless energy resulted in an emergency room visit—but even in that moment, Hochman managed to blend his deep concern with the love and humor that define his public persona.
