Ditza Or, mother of freed hostage Avinatan Or, said on the "HaPatriotim" programme that a key exchange between her son and one of his Hamas captors on the day of his release was left out of the interview he gave to Channel 12's "Uvda" with Ilana Dayan.
According to Ditza, on the day Avinatan was freed, he turned to a terrorist known as Abu Hasan and asked him how Hamas could agree to release all the remaining hostages in a single day. "How is it that you're releasing all of us in one day?" Avitan asked.
The terrorist's answer, as relayed by Ditza, was: "Hamas is weak, there's nothing to be done, we have to."
Ditza said the terrorist, who had been among those holding her son captive, has since been killed. She said the account of the conversation between the two did not appear in the interview broadcast on "Uvda".
