Shocking Truth: How Hamas Tortured Israeli Captives
The stories of Or, Eli, and Ohad serve as a stark reminder that every single member of Hamas is a vicious animal, for those who are still not convinced.

In a harrowing account of their ordeal, hostages Or Levy, Eli Sharabi, and Ohad Ben-Ami have shared their experiences of being held in Gaza. According to Itai Blumenthal, the three were not always together; Or Levy and Eli Sharabi spent their entire captivity together, while Ohad Ben-Ami only joined them the evening before their release.
The captives, who were among others held in Gaza, spoke openly about the dire conditions they endured. "We were hungry all the time," they reported, emphasizing the extent of their starvation. The physical toll was evident, with some of the released hostages having lost up to three clothing sizes due to the lack of food.
Blumenthal further detailed the grim reality of their captivity, which included not only deliberate starvation but also torture. Both physical and psychological abuses were inflicted upon them. Or Levy, in particular, was singled out for harsh treatment akin to that of a reserve soldier, subjected to interrogations aimed at extracting IDF information. The cruelty was consistent, with physical violence being a regular part of their daily experience.
During their captivity, the hostages were moved frequently by Hamas terrorists from one location to another, often finding themselves in underground tunnels where they were deprived of air, light, and humane conditions. One of the hostages described the experience as "horrifying," expressing disbelief at the thought of ever escaping such conditions. These tunnels not only isolated them physically from the outside world but also metaphorically, as they were cut off from any connection or hope.
The treatment in these tunnels was part of a pattern of severe human rights abuses. The lack of air and light, combined with the constant movement, made their situation even more unbearable. The psychological impact was profound, with each day spent underground feeling like an eternity.
These accounts shed light on the severe human rights violations experienced by the captives, highlighting the urgent need for international attention and action regarding the treatment of hostages in conflict zones.
