Hamas Operatives Escape from Northern Gaza Tunnel
IDF forces neutralize Hamas operatives emerging from a secret tunnel in northern Gaza, as violations of the October ceasefire continue to escalate.

Ongoing Hamas activity in the northern Gaza Strip resulted in a direct engagement a short time ago.
While conducting operations to secure the Yellow Line, the military boundary established under the October 2025 ceasefire, IDF troops spotted several operatives surfacing from a concealed tunnel entrance.
Israeli forces immediately engaged the terrorists. Military sources describe these surfacing attempts as a persistent "test" of Israeli defensive lines by Hamas remnants.
This incident follows a similar clash on February 9, where four gunmen were killed in the south. The IDF has warned that despite months of demolition, an estimated 60% of the Hamas tunnel network remains intact and operational.
Commanders of the Northern Brigade recently described the mission to dismantle these tunnels as an "endless task," citing the complexity of the urban terrain and the depth of the infrastructure.
The situation on the ground remains volatile as the regional ceasefire enters a precarious phase.
The IDF currently maintains control over 53% of the Gaza Strip.
Disarmament talks are stalled; Hamas has refused to surrender weapons, a key requirement for the entry of the new National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG).
