"You Just Want to Explode": Hostage Survivor Bar Kuperstein Humiliated at Pharmacy
Hostage survivor Bar Kuperstein reveals a humiliating incident at a pharmacy where his priority pass was rejected. "Small things can trigger us in seconds," he warns, pleading for public sensitivity.

Amid the public outcry following the alleged assault on hostage survivor Rom Baslavski, another survivor of Hamas captivity, Bar Kuperstein, has come forward to share a distressing encounter that highlights the daily struggles faced by returnees.
In an interview with i24NEWS, Kuperstein revealed a recent incident at a pharmacy where his legal right to priority service, a "skip-the-line" pass granted to victims of terror and disabled veterans, was dismissively rejected by staff.
Kuperstein recounted waiting in a long line to purchase medication. When he finally approached the counter and presented his priority card to the pharmacist, the response was cold.
"I don't accept a 'line exemption,'" the pharmacist reportedly told him, refusing to honor the document.
The situation was only resolved after Kuperstein's mother and other customers in the store, who recognized the survivor and understood the injustice, intervened and pressured the staff member to provide service.
Kuperstein described the incident as a severe psychological trigger. "It is very hard for me to stand and be patient," he explained. "I saw what looked like a 'black screen' in front of me. All you want to do in that moment is explode."
He used the incident to plead for greater public awareness regarding the fragile mental state of those who spent months in the terror tunnels. "Even a small thing can light us up [trigger us] in seconds," Kuperstein said. "People need to understand that we went through difficult things."
