An IDF soldier thwarted an attempted weapon seizure in the Binyamin region earlier today. The incident occurred at Rimonim Junction, where an assailant tried to grab the personal firearm of a soldier operating in the area under the Binyamin Brigade.
The soldier responded quickly to the threat, firing accurately at the attacker and neutralizing him on the spot.
Following the incident, additional IDF forces and security personnel rushed to the location. They secured the area and began conducting searches in the surrounding vicinity. At this stage, security forces have reported no additional casualties.
