In a stunning blow to Israel, Iran and the United States are reportedly on the verge of finalizing a sweeping nuclear agreement, in a significant triumph for Tehran against the American superpower. This development follows a stern U.S. warning to Israel, prohibiting any military strikes on Iran for the time being.

Sources familiar with the nuclear talks told CNN that the U.S. and Iran are “very close” to sealing a comprehensive agreement, potentially as early as the next round of negotiations. The central issue is Iran’s uranium enrichment program, with discussions focusing on a groundbreaking proposal: the U.S. would invest in Iran’s nuclear infrastructure and establish a consortium, including Middle Eastern nations and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), to supply enriched uranium to the Islamic Republic.

This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly cautioned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against attacking Iran, a move that has intensified Israel’s concerns. The deal, if finalized, could reshape regional dynamics, granting Iran a diplomatic and strategic victory while leaving Israel grappling with the implications for its security.
