Casualties and Emergency Response
Emergency services report that at least 15 people were evacuated from various impact sites across the Tel Aviv district. Among the injured, one individual is listed in serious condition, while the others sustained light injuries. Victims were transported to Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer, Beilinson Hospital, and Ichilov Hospital.
MDA emergency medic Yitzhak Reichman described treating one of the victims: "We reached a man in his 40s who was hit by shrapnel; he had injuries to his leg and back and was in a state of shock. We provided medical treatment, including bandaging and stopping the bleeding."
Widespread Damage Across the District
The Israel Fire and Rescue Service (Dan District) confirmed that crews dealt with multiple impact zones across Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Ramat Gan, and Givatayim. Key scenes included:
- A direct hit on a vehicle in central Tel Aviv.Shrapnel falling on a major highway.
- A building collapse in southern Tel Aviv.
- Destruction zones in residential areas of Ramat Gan and Givatayim.
Firefighters conducted extensive searches throughout the afternoon to rule out trapped individuals and to disconnect gas and electricity sources at the damaged sites.
"Smoke and Destruction"
MDA medic Pavel Belzer, who arrived at one of the primary scenes within minutes, reported heavy smoke and significant structural damage. "We began performing searches to locate casualties and are continuing these efforts at this moment," he stated.
Authorities reiterated the life-saving importance of following Home Front Command instructions. "When a siren is heard, it is vital to enter a protected space immediately," Reichman emphasized.
