Stormy weather affected Israel this morning, Tuesday, leading to several rescue operations, from streams in the south to flooding in settlements. Fire and rescue teams are operating continuously to assist dozens of people from vehicles and homes impacted by the water.

Despite these incidents, no injuries or fatalities have been reported.

In the south, the events are concentrated on roads and streams experiencing significant flooding.

According to fire and rescue data, flooding in some apartments in Elkana, Samaria reached one meter, causing concern for residents.

Frefighters rescued about ten people from their homes, unharmed, including a baby girl.

The Binyamin Regional Council reports that the Gush Talmonim area received heavy rainfall not seen in years. The Neve Tzuf station recorded 124 millimeters in four hours, breaking a national record after nearly 60 years.

This led to widespread flooding and road closures. Council teams have been working since early morning with relevant authorities to reopen roads.

Current status:

Route 463, from the Post Office Junction to Na'ale, is closed due to a collapsed wall. Teams from the council and Neti are on site, but clearance will take several hours.

Route 450, Neve Tzuf to Nahaliel, is now open after efforts, allowing exit from Gush Talmonim.

Kerem Road, from Kerem Re'im to the Post Office, is open. Drivers should proceed with caution based on conditions and avoid risks.
