Following a comprehensive security assessment by military professionals, Israel's Home Front Command announced that defense guidelines for the public will remain unchanged for the next few days. The existing safety protocols have been officially extended and will remain in effect until Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 8:00 PM. Military authorities continue to monitor regional developments around the clock to determine if further adjustments will be required.

The specific restrictions heavily impact the immediate northern border region, alongside a designated list of communities located within the Galilee. The specific towns subject to these ongoing limitations include Safsofa, Meron, Ohr HaGanuz, Bar Yochai, Yesod HaMa'ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jann, and Sde Eliezer. Authorities have emphasized that residents in these exact locations must strictly adhere to the guidelines to ensure personal safety.

Within these specific northern communities, educational activities, summer camps, and schools are permitted to operate only under very strict conditions. All such gatherings must take place inside permanent, closed structures, or within facilities where an approved bomb shelter can be reached safely within the designated localized alert time. These measures are designed to safeguard children and staff from sudden cross-border threats.

Similar rules apply to the local workforce and commercial sectors in the upper Galilee region. Businesses and industrial operations are allowed to continue, provided that all daily activity happens in close proximity to standardized protected spaces. Employees must be able to access secure rooms without delay the moment an air raid siren is activated.

The Home Front Command has also maintained a strict cap on public gatherings, religious services, and social events in the border zone. Outdoor gatherings are strictly limited to a maximum of 100 individuals, while indoor events held inside closed buildings may accommodate up to 400 people. This directly impacts local synagogues, family celebrations, and community meetings throughout the northern sector.

In stark contrast to the border limits, the remainder of the country is maintaining a completely normal routine. From the central districts down to the southern regions, the Home Front Command has designated a full activity status. This means that schools, businesses, and large public gatherings everywhere else in Israel are operating under standard conditions, with the simple requirement that citizens remain attentive to regular sirens.
