The United States is preparing to launch a new wave of military strikes inside Iran today, following an explicit warning from President Donald Trump that the Islamic Republic has run out of time. Speaking directly from the Oval Office, Trump stated that the American military is ready to strike very hard, highlighting a massive escalation in the ongoing war between Washington and Tehran. The decision comes after weeks of diplomatic stalling and a targeted military engagement in the Persian Gulf.

Trump revealed that the United States recently destroyed 22 Iranian ships during a nighttime operation, a major development that had been kept under wraps until now. The President noted that the Iranians only discovered the severe damage to their naval forces at the exact moment he made the information public. He added that the United States has already eliminated millions of barrels of oil, limiting Iran's economic and logistical capabilities in the region.

The immediate catalyst for the impending strikes was the downing of an American Apache helicopter by Iranian forces. Trump explained that while the administration had shown immense patience, Tehran continued to drag out negotiations for a potential agreement. According to the President, the Iranian regime treated American diplomats like fools and consistently delayed giving a definitive answer, forcing Washington to pivot toward decisive military action.

Trump mocked the current state of Iran's armed forces, describing the military as an absolute and total mess. He asserted that significant portions of their military infrastructure, including their navy and air force, basically no longer exist because they have been completely defeated. Trump dismissed the aggressive rhetoric coming out of Tehran, stating that Iran is all talk and very little action, before declaring that the bully of the Middle East is dead.

The upcoming targets are expected to focus heavily on critical Iranian infrastructure. Trump confirmed to media outlets that he is very close to ordering direct strikes against power plants and bridges throughout the country. While he declined to specify whether oil and energy production facilities would be entirely leveled, he explicitly noted that the American military possesses the full capability to do so.

Iranian leaders responded rapidly to the American warnings, attempting to project strength despite the severe losses to their command structure. Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the speaker of the Iranian parliament, warned that any aggression against Iran would receive a decisive and immediate response. Qalibaf claimed that despite the recent deaths of various military commanders and scientists, the defensive and deterrent capabilities of the regime have not been diminished.
