Talks between Knesset member Tally Gotliv and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir have reached an advanced stage, according to Israeli media reports. Channel 12 correspondent Dafna Liel reported that Ben-Gvir, who heads the Jewish Power (Otzma Yehudit) party, is eager to bring Gotliv into his faction but has set a clear condition: the transfer will only proceed after she formally leaves Likud or is expelled from the party. Political observers believe the move is nearing completion and could yield political gains for the right-wing bloc as a whole.

Gottlieb May Join Ben-Gvir's Party
Negotiations between the Likud lawmaker and Jewish Power leader are in advanced stages, with Netanyahu expected to welcome the move
The switch is strategically advantageous for both sides. For Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Likud, Gotliv's departure would allow the party to appeal more effectively to moderate voters in the political center. Meanwhile, Ben-Gvir is expected to offer her a prominent and influential position on the Jewish Power list, a step that would strengthen the party's support base among Israel's nationalist right wing.
