Following The Video Scandal
Dramatic Incident: The Military Advocate General Has Been Found After Disappearing
Initial reports indicate that General Tomer-Yerushalmi has disappeared around a North Tel Aviv Beach, following a public scandal that has lately erupted

Police investigators arrived this morning at the home of Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi to bring her in for questioning regarding the investigation into the leaked video from the Sde Teiman scandal. However, she was not at home, and her family reported her absence.
Reports from the last few minutes indicate searches are underway for Tomer-Yerushalmi, whose name has recently been linked to the case of the leaked video from Sde Teiman that has rocked Israel.
Her car was found abandoned and still running near the cliff, with a personal letter left inside.
Large police forces are searching for her, and police helicopters have been deployed in the area of Hof HaTzuk.
Hof HaTzuk is unfortunately a popular destination to commit suicide, just as Minister Avraham Ofer did in 1977 when he was suspected in the corruption scandal that shook the State of Israel.
Boats, and flares have also been employed by the search forces.
UPDATE:
1. Two farewell letters have been found—one at her home and one near the Hof HaTzuk area.
3. In addition, the reason there are rumors that her body has been found is that a woman around 30 committed suicide in the Yarkon River, which has no connection to this situation.
4. Naval forces have now joined the operation, while IDF search units are employing thermal drones to assist in the effort.
UPDATE - 6:58PM
Following new information received by investigators, part of the police search teams have been redirected to a different location, described as offering a “shred of hope,” according to reporter Eli Senior.
7PM: Amit Segal reports that Tomer-Yerushalmi is alive. The police are on their way to check. She apparently contacted her husband and / her family.
7:45PM
Tomer-Yerushalmi will be transferred under police and military escort for a physical examination before arriving at a police station for questioning, Tel Aviv District Commander Superintendent announced Sunday.
Likud spokesperson Guy Levy criticized the handling of the ongoing investigation into the Chief Military Prosecutor, calling the situation “complete madness.” According to Levy, the Attorney General’s actions over the past two weeks have failed to secure key evidence or detain the prosecutor, leaving devices unchecked and no official statement taken.
Levy demanded immediate accountability: “The Attorney General must be arrested and questioned tonight!”
Meanwhile, a police affairs correspondent explained: "When I asked the police why the Military Advocate General hasn’t been arrested, they replied that the Attorney General did not authorize her arrest."
The Attorney General was specifically ordered to stay out of this investigation by the Justice Minister:
Justice Minister: “On the face of it, you are in a severe conflict of interest and should refrain from any involvement in the investigation. If you have a claim that you were not involved at any stage in this matter, it is appropriate that you state it clearly. The fact that you did not write this in the letter unequivocally indicates the existence of a conflict of interest.
She replied, “You have no authority to take away my powers in the Sde Teiman investigation. Your political interference in the investigation is improper, baseless, and harmful to it.”
Israel Live News reported: The disappearance of the Military Advocate-General strongly indicates an attempt to prevent the discovery of other suspects in the case. Without investigating her, prosecutors would find themselves hard-pressed to determine who else was in on the plot - and who might have wanted to keep her secrets hidden forever.
