Israeli pop star Omer Adam is stepping back from the stage ahead of his upcoming wedding to girlfriend Sasha Israelovich, according to a report by Israel Bidur.
The singer, who has been one of Israel's most in-demand live performers in recent years, will not be taking on new shows in the coming months and is also not expected to participate in the Tamar Festival concert series this year. Aside from previously committed engagements, including the NEXT Festival and other pre-scheduled appearances, Adam is dedicating the coming months primarily to his personal life.
The couple is set to marry in Italy at the end of August, where Israelovich's family is based. Wedding celebrations are expected to begin on August 23, with the chuppah ceremony itself scheduled for August 27.
The pair have chosen to keep the occasion intimate and private, celebrating with close family and friends away from the public eye.
