A Hamas cell of three terrorists emerged from a tunnel in Rafah and fired an anti-tank missile at IDF forces, in a serious violation of the ceasefire.
IDF soldiers engaged the attackers in close-quarters combat, killing two. The third terrorist placed an explosive on an armored Namer vehicle and retreated back into the tunnel, according to Hallel Bitton Rosen.
The IDF launched artillery strikes and struck using combat helicopters in response.
The IDF will likely launch a wide scale response tonight.
