IDF Spokesman: We Eliminated a Number of Senior Members of the Hamas Air Force
IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, held another press conference on the occasion of the 17th day of the war. During the briefing, it was revealed that five senior members of Hamas' air system were killed.

IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari, held another press conference on the occasion of the 17th day of the war. During the briefing, Hagari described the development of the combat situation in all sectors and the preparations taking place for the upcoming stages of the war.
IDF Spokesperson revealed in his statement that since the beginning of the conflict, and in cooperation with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), the IDF has eliminated a series of senior figures within the Hamas terrorist organization's aerial unit. These operations have taken place since the commencement of the hostilities and have thwarted numerous actions by this arm of the organization. At least five senior members of the aerial unit have been eliminated since the outset of the conflict.
The formation commanders who have been eliminated so far:
Marad Abu Marad – Commander of the Aerial Unit in the city of Gaza.
Mu'ad Abed al-Rahman – Responsible for the training department in the city of Gaza.
Uthman Hamdan - Air defense officer of the Zabra Tel Ela battalion.
Wamkud Al-Rifi – Responsible for supply in the city of Gaza.
Assan Shalfookh – Responsible for the training of the air defense system in the northern part of the Strip.
3 Hezbollah squads were eliminated
The IDF spokesman added that 3 squads of Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated in Lebanese territory, before they could fire at Israel.
