Against the background of the words of the Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez, Netanyahu today (Thursday) instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs Eli Cohen to invite the Ambassador of Spain in Israel for a reprimand conversation after the shameful statement of the Prime Minister of Spain on the day when Hamas terrorists are killing Israelis in our capital Jerusalem.

Sánchez: "What you see in Gaza is unthinkable"

These words come against the background of the controversial statements of the Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez who claimed that "the photographs we see and the increasing number of children dying in Gaza, I have serious doubts that Israel complies with international law", he said. He also added that "what we are seeing in Gaza is unacceptable."

This is not the only time during the war that Sánchez caused an uproar. Last week after touring Kibbutz Be'eri and watching part of the video of the atrocities committed by Hamas, the Spanish Prime Minister went to Egypt and pointed the finger of blame at Israel for indiscriminate killings in Gaza and the violation of international law, "the greatest tragedy of the modern era", he claimed. In addition, Sánchez called for a permanent ceasefire.
