Anti-Tank Missile was Fired from Lebanon Towards Kibbutz Sasa, the IDF Attacked in Response
The cultural hall at the school in Kibbutz Sasa was hit by an anti-tank missile fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon, and the IDF responded with artillery fire. No injuries were reported.
The shooting in the north resumed: a Hezbollah terrorist squad fired an anti-tank missile at Kibbutz Sasa in the Upper Galilee this morning (Sunday). According to reports, the IDF responded with artillery fire.
The kibbutz later reported that the cultural hall at the local school was hit by the shooting. However, it was said that there were no physical injuries in the incident.
An IDF spokesperson stated: "A short time ago, several launches from Lebanese territory towards the region of Arab al-Aramshe and Sassa were detected. IDF forces are attacking the sources of the fire with artillery. Also, some launches from Lebanese territory were identified that did not cross into Israeli territory."
Last night it was reported that Sergeant Major Yehezkel Azaria, 53 years old from Petah Tikva, was killed as a result of the fall of an aircraft launched from Lebanon. In the incident, two reservists of the 6609th Brigade, Alexandroni Brigade, were also injured, seriously and lightly.
After the downing of the UAV on the Lebanese border, Air Force fighter jets attacked a series of targets of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, including military buildings, launch positions, and terrorist infrastructure. In addition, IDF fighters attacked two suspects who were operating in a known launch area of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanese territory.
