Condition Worsens for Chabad Girl Who Suffered Cardiac Arrest During Safed Siren
A Jewish community in Safed is on edge following a medical setback for an 11-year-old girl who suffered cardiac arrest during a rocket siren; family and friends are calling for urgent prayers.

11-year-old Esther Hadassah bat Chaya Mushka experienced a medical setback recently.
Last Thursday morning, when the sirens went off in Safed warning of incoming rockets from Lebanon, Esther jumped out of bed to run to the bomb shelter. In the rush, she collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. First responders from United Hatzalah and MDA rushed to her house, where they used a defibrillator to get her heart beating again before taking her to Ziv Medical Center in serious condition.
On Friday, she woke up, the Mayor even visited her and called it a miracle. But unfortunately, over the last 24 hours, her condition took a turn for the worse.
Her family is at the hospital and is asking everyone to say some Tehillim (Psalms) or do a good deed in her name. They’re just hoping for another miracle so she can get back on the road to recovery.
