Britain: We're not stopping arms sales to Israel

Foreign Secretary David Cameron told the British press that the UK would not deny Israel the weapons it needs.

Following international reports of Foreign Office discussions regarding British arms sales policy to Israel, Britain announced that it will not change its policy on the matter.

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron addressed a question during a press conference with British and international journalists regarding discussions in the Foreign Office and the Ministry of Defense, per which the freezing of arms sales was being considered.

Cameron addressed the reports, stating that there will be no change in the UK's arms sales policy to Israel, and that Britain would not deny Israel the weapons it purchased on the past or will need in the future.

The Foreign Secretary did not confirm or deny the discussions being held in the Foreign Office, only stating that the current policy will continue for now.
