US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will visit the port of Ashdod tomorrow (Wednesday) and closely examine the possibility of providing additional humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. According to journalist Yanir Kozin, Blinken will also visit the Kerem Shalom crossing for the same purpose.

These steps follow the construction of the floating port in Gaza, the cost of which is estimated at about $230 million, and through which the US plans to transfer aid to Gaza.

You will recall that dozens of pro-Israel activists have been protesting the transfer of aid to Gaza at the Kerem Shalom crossing. Many of these activists are family members of hostages being held in Gaza who are livid with the current government with assisting Hamas while their relatives are being held captive.
