Israel Made a Huge Mistake - The West is Reapeating it

Not all the countries that recognized Palestine want to destroy the Jews. Just like the Palestinians themselves.

True, they are demanding a state for a collective built on destruction and the dispossession of Jews, but who even reads the fine print.

These countries mostly believe they can buy quiet at home, where they face growing Arab, Muslim, and leftist populations. Maybe also quiet in the Middle East, which never really killed anyone, right.

Their declarations are embarrassing, foolish, and completely lacking in any real celebration. Because even they know this is a step taken out of despair. It is not a step of national liberation. It is mainly a move driven by hopelessness and exhaustion in the face of domestic pressure.

In that sense, these countries are similar to the Israeli left. For many years, the Israeli left only wanted one thing, quiet, at any price. They believed that giving the Arabs a state would bring peace. Their desire for calm was so deep, and their refusal to consider the only correct solution, population transfer, was so strong, that they kept believing even after terror attacks that peace with the murderers was still necessary. And so they kept finding excuses. If our own people did that, how can we blame the British and the Canadians.

Here is the story.

When someone comes to kill you and you do not expel them, and you leave the population in place, something is going to happen.

Israel is not doing much. It does not really have goals.

Right now, the way to calm things down around the world and reduce the explosive impact of images coming out of Gaza is by creating a Palestinian state that will silence the streets of Ottawa and London.

Do these countries actually believe this will bring peace or quiet. Probably not. They received no assurances or promises from the Arabs that this is what they want or that it will bring peace.

And even if they had, we all know how much those promises are worth.

We Israelis did not learn from the mistake of the Israeli left. We left the Arabs in place. We allowed them to die. We did not offer the right solution. And now the trouble is leaking into the domestic arenas of Europe and North America.

We, Israelis, who offered them a state, (which was a mistake), because we refused to carry out population transfer (which was a mistake), still refuse to pursue transfer now (same mistake). And now, we are surprised that the West is making the same mistake (of offering a state), when it is driven to it by our same refuse to transder them, which leads them, to the place we were when we offered them a state - exhaustion and despair.

How hypocritical and foolish can we Jews be.?
