Foreign Minister Katz spoke with French Foreign Minister Séjourné about "new ideas" to "reach a political solution that befits the interests of all sides," and that the Lebanon front was at the "heart" of their meeting, according to Lebanese news portal Naharnet.

The Foreign Minister made no direct mention of Lebanon in his statement on X regarding his meeting with his French counterpart, instead stressing the agreement between the two countries about the danger presented by Iran, the unacceptability of a unilaterally created Palestinian state, and the rejection of the ICC Prosecutor's equation between Israel and Hamas in his prosecution of war crimes in the region.
