Breaking: Hezbollah rocket attack leaves 2 critically injured
Hezbollah claims responsibility in deadly retaliation, Authorities urge public caution

In a significant escalation of tensions, two people were critically injured today following a rocket attack in the Golan Heights. The incident occurred near the Nafah junction, where a rocket struck a vehicle, according to initial reports from Magen David Adom, Israel's emergency medical service.
Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the attack. In a statement, the organization said it launched dozens of rockets targeting the IDF's Nafah base, located just south of the community of Ortal. Hezbollah framed this action as retaliation for the earlier killing of Yasser Qarnabash, one of its members, in what they describe as an IDF strike on the Beirut-Damascus highway in Syria.
Israeli authorities have responded swiftly to the attack. Police and bomb disposal experts from the Northern District are currently managing multiple impact sites in the area. They are working to isolate these locations and conduct thorough searches for additional debris.
The public has been strongly urged to avoid these areas and to refrain from approaching or touching any rocket debris, which may contain explosives. Anyone who spots suspicious objects is asked to report them immediately to the emergency services via the 100 hotline.
In a separate incident, Hezbollah also claimed to have fired missiles at a home in Manara, describing this as a response to an earlier IDF strike in the south Lebanon town of Rab al-Thalathine.
As the situation develops, authorities continue to monitor the area closely and respond to any further threats.
