In a sign of the expanding IDF military operations across the northern border, the IDF Northern Command commander has now signed an order defining the areas of Tzivon, Malkia, and Dovev as closed military zones.

The IDF now has a closed military zone stretching from the Galilee Panhandle to Dovev within which to operate against Hezbollah across the border and to which civilians have no access without explicit IDF permission.

Meanwhile, the IDF Spokesperson announced today that the IDF is now calling up no fewer than four reserve brigades and "additional forces" for operational missions in the northern sector.

The IDF said that this callup would allow the continued effort against Hezbollah and the achievement of the goals of the war, including returning the northern residents safely to their homes.

The IDF has kept a tight lid on details of IDF ground operations in Lebanon, but it has revealed that the IDF has been covertly operating inside Lebanon along the border since the war began.
