It has been cleared for publication that two IDF soldiers, including a reservist and a female soldier from the Bislach Brigade, were seriously injured in the truck overturning in the Jordan Valley. The IDF has begun an investigation into the circumstances of the accident. The injured were transferred to the hospital, and their families have been informed.

"Earlier, a military traffic accident occurred due to the overturning of a military truck in the area of the Beka'a and Valleys Brigade. The circumstances of the event are under investigation," it was reported. "In the accident, a reservist soldier and a soldier from the Bislach Brigade were seriously injured and were evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital. The soldiers' families have been informed."

As mentioned, the two soldiers were injured after the truck overturned while driving on Highway 508 near Gitit. Firefighters, medics, and MDA paramedics worked to rescue the truck driver who was trapped in the vehicle, and an engineering vehicle was dispatched to the scene to assist due to the complexity of the rescue.

Reshef Adir Rafael, commander of the Jordan Valley cluster, reported that "a short while ago, firefighters and volunteers from the Samaria regional station were dispatched to a serious accident near Gitit in the Jordan Valley. Upon arrival at the scene, I identified a difficult and complex site, with a truck overturned on its side. I immediately conducted an initial assessment and prioritized the rescue of the trapped individuals. The first person rescued from the truck was the one sitting next to the driver, and she was immediately transferred to medical care. Shortly thereafter, we began operations to rescue the driver."
