Thank Gd He's Alive
BREAKING: Sign of life for hostage Yosef Haim Ohana
Ynet reports that we now have proof of life of Yosef Haim Ohana, a hostage of Hamas who worked to save lives during the Nova festival massacre.

The family of Yosef Haim Ohana, who was kidnapped on October 7, has received a sign that he is still alive in Hamas captivity, according to Ynet.
"We have a clear indication he is alive," Hannah Mastronov, Ohana's aunt, told Ynet during an interview with Ynet this morning (Wednesday). She said that they received a clear sign of life following the release of hostages that took place last Saturday.
Ohana was helping the wounded at the Nova Festival massacre and helping to hand them over to medics and put them into ambulances when Hamas took him to Gaza.
Mastronov told Ynet that "we stayed under the radar until now, but now we're coming out. We chose to go to the media after the release on Saturday, the feelings are not simple at all."
Addressing the condition of the hostages Ohad Ben Ami, Eli Sharabi, and Or Levy, she said that "they were shadows of people, not people. Thank God they returned, but I think about the others. What will happen with the others? Anyone who looks at Sharabi, I don't know if he would have survived another few weeks in captivity, it's time to wake up. There's no time, really no time - they need to return today."
According to the Times of Israel, Yosef Haim's mother called him a "helpful, generous soul."
“He has a heart of gold,” she said in a Kan News video. “I just want my son home, now. That’s my prayer and that’s my hope.”
Like many others later confirmed to be either hostages of Hamas or their murder victims, Ohana was considered "missing" for several weeks. Eventually, the IDF informed his family that he was indeed being held captive in the Gaza Strip.
Signs of life for the hostages Gali and Ziv Berman, Elkana Bohbot, Nimrod Cohen, Alon Ohel, Omri Miran and Elia Cohen were also received from the recently released hostages.
