A protected striped hyena died last Friday after being caught in a trap and subsequently stoned near Kedar, a settlement in the Maale Adumim area east of Jerusalem. According to reports, Palestinians set the trap in the area, and after the animal was ensnared, it was repeatedly struck with stones until it died.
Channel 14 correspondent Hallel Biton Rosen shared footage showing the trapped hyena and the attack that followed. The video sparked widespread condemnation on social media, with viewers expressing outrage over the violence directed at the animal.
