Staff Sergeant (res.) Dejen Daniel Sahalo, 41, from Rehovot, was tragically killed in an operational car accident near the Gaza Strip, the IDF announced on Monday.

Sahalo, a soldier in the 5067th Engineering Battalion of the Combat Engineering Corps, was serving as part of Israel’s ongoing operations in the area when the incident occurred.
