Cowardly Shmuck no longer? Schumer stands for Israel against Iran

Following over half a day of silence since Operation Rising Lion began, Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer finally broke his silence and released a statement fully supporting Israel's right to defend itself, according to the Jewish Insider:

“The United States’ commitment to Israel’s security and defense must be ironclad as they prepare for Iran’s response. The Iranian regime’s stated policy has long been to destroy Israel and Jewish communities around the world. I have long said that Israel has a right to defend itself and that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Ensuring they never obtain one must remain a top national security priority.”

For unclear reasons, Schumer has not shared this statement on his social media account, yet, while multiple American politicians have already weighed in.
