According to Magen David Adom (MDA) spokespersons, at 14:05, the organization’s emergency center received reports of at least three men injured in an incident on Route 443 near the Mevo Modi’in junction in the Ayalon region.

Paramedics and MDA emergency responders provided medical care on site, with all three men reported to be in serious condition.

Emergency responders from Magen David Adom have confirmed the deaths of two men, both around 40 years old, in the shooting inciden.

Two additional men, also in their 40s, sustained serious penetrating injuries and were rushed to Shamir, Assaf Harofeh and Sheba–Tel Hashomer hospitals for treatment.

Central District police are currently conducting a manhunt for a motorcycle rider suspected of opening fire on a vehicle near the Ginaton junction on Route 443.

The cause and details of the incident have not yet been confirmed, although it is suspected to be criminal in nature.

A suspect has been arrested.

Authorities have blocked the road in both directions, causing significant traffic congestion. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes until the situation is resolved.
